Tekken 7 Version 1.11 Update Fixes Juggling Bugs in the Forgotten Realm

Hope all you combo makers out there had your fun, the window to create unique buggy juggles in the Forgotten Realm stage are now being fixed in the Version 1.11 update to Tekken 7. This bug fix update is being rolled out now on Steam and PlayStation 4 but if it hasn't came out for you yet then the latest you can expect to get it is December 22 according to the Tekken Project twitter account. The bugs being fixed in this update are seemingly an unintended side effect of the recent input lag reduction patch where juggles performed on this stage in particular would reset the juggle 'knock back' after a floor break. Usually in juggles the scaling on a moves knockback on a mid-air opponent would increase to let the opponent 'fly' away eventually after too many hits which prevents potential infinite combos. As of Version 1.11, the bugs have now been stamped out. For those on PC, this update didn't break the Tekken Bot.

Tekken 7 Update to Reduce Input Lag is Coming December 14

During the official Bandai Namco Tekken 7 West Tournament finals, Tekken & Soul Calibur producer Motohiro Okubo brought the news forward that the upcoming input lag reduction update that was mentioned for Tekken 7 during the TWT Finals is arriving on December 14. Tekken 7 was noted in particular for having a notable amount of input lag since it's release so this update coming next week should help alleviate the responsiveness feel to player input. Full details on the patch and possible later testing on the reduction patch to come hopefully soon. You can check out Motohiro Okubo detail the update in the Twitch clip below.

Geese Howard, Instant Rematch in Player Matches & Input Lag Updates Coming Soon

UPDATE: Stream archive with timestamp added.

Amidst all the hubbub of the newly announced Noctis guest character, it's important to bring forward that during the announcement stream, both Harada and Murray made comments towards upcoming updates for Tekken 7. We did not get an exact date for the release of Geese Howard however he is currently undergoing examinations from 1st parties so expect him to drop on console and Steam real soon once they have been completed. Instant Rematching in Player Lobbies was the next topic with them saying that they're planning on implementing this in an upcoming future update to the game, so they do hear you on that. Last but not least was the Input Lag currently in the game. They remarked that they're currently working with Epic to make changes to help reduce the input lag. No word on how long that will take since it is a big undertaking on their end however they hope to have it out 'within the year.' Those were the other news presented from the stream and I'll have up the archive from the Twitch stream after the finals are over.
