Knee on his Tekken History: 'For me, this game is my life'

This interview with Knee was put up almost a week ago, but it wasn't until recently that it got English captioning supplemented onto it. So without further adieu, here is Inven's interview with ROX Dragon's Knee. It's quite a lengthy session that goes far back to his arcade beginnings with the Tekken series, to his adult life, where he was studying and conscripted into the Korean military service. Maybe some out there can personally relate to Knee's experience in growing up with the Tekken series, in which case, Knee offers his perspective on committing to Tekken instead of a more 'normal' life. Tickets to the Tekken World Tour Global Finals in Amsterdam are Now on Sale

We're inching closer towards the culmination of a year's worth of Tekken World Tour events. The Theater venue in Amsterdam is set to feature two days of the best of the very best in the world of Tekken for everyone to watch live in person or on stream. General spectating admission and entry to the last chance qualifier at the Global Finals are actually pretty cheap with general admission starting at $10 and entry to the last chance qualifier at $20 so anyone can easily try his or her luck in getting the last remaining spot in the TWT Grand Finals line-up to compete on the world stage. Brazilian New Master III Tournament Taking Place October 13 with English Commentary

Getting the word out on the third instalment of the "New Master" set to take place in the city of São Paulo in Brazil on October 13th. The New Master tournaments are fairly new but usually feature some of the best Tekken talent to watch for the South American region. For this occasion, they're planning on stepping up and enlisting an English commentary team for the stream to help guide the whole world into the Brazilian Tekken scene. There's prize money on the line and maybe news on possible international guests so stay tuned to the New Master social pages for more info on the tournament. You can expect to watch the entire tournament live on Twitch as it happens on October 13th.

EVO 2018 | Fighting Game World Tournament on August 3 - 5

It's that time of the year, the celebration world tournament of all fighting games is taking place this week in in the city of Las Vegas. Evo 2018 sees a staggering amount of competition spread across several fighting games in its lineup which includes Tekken 7 as a main stage game and Soul Calibur 6 as a side tournament. The SC6 tournament commences at 10 AM sharp in the morning on Friday with all the Tekken 7 pools starting at 8 AM on the Saturday with the Top 8 and exhibition of both games later at the Mandalay Bay arena on Sunday. For all things fighting games, Evo is not the tournament to miss out on while it's happening live so tune in with us and hopefully we see some new fighting game announcements.

Super Cup | Tekken 7 Singles & 3v3 Team Tournament from Super Arcade

Super Arcade is throwing Tekken 7 tournaments today, so come on down if you happen to be in the area for some Tekken. Starting at 3 PM Pacific time, you can enter either the Singles (Double Elim) tournament and the 3v3 Team Tournament for Tekken 7 on site at the arcade. It's $5 for the venue fee and another $5 for entering each tournament if you wish to participate but you can also watch it online through the Super Arcade Twitch channel if you can't make it out or want to watch it online.
