Knee weighs in on the Leroy controversy

Having played Tekken competitively for over 10 years, Leroy Smith was the moment where Knee revels in disbelief over the game's balance. With Leroy Smith out for two months with an overtuned move set, EVO Japan would go on to be too much of a display on how capable the DLC character really is. In Knee's latest discussion video, Knee collects his thoughts on the impact of Leroy Smith and compares them to other characters with similar episodes like Akuma or Geese Howard. Knee concludes his discussion with a certain sentiment that maybe some parts of the community might associate with: 'Tekken doesn't feel like Tekken any more.'

Daddyking reviews Leroy in v3.20

The release of Tekken 7 version 3.20 saw balance changes that nerfs some of Leroy's moveset, but how effective were these moveset weakening revisions? Japanese SoulCalibur VI Tier List for Season 2

EVO Japan is this weekend and for the occasion, the Dengeki writer Kurita Oyakata compiled his and other player's thoughts on a tierlist for Season 2 of SoulCalibur 6. I have to say, this is kind of a hard game to make a good tier list for with loads of differing opinions between regions but this Japanese tier list makes a decent case for the base of a current list. At the time of writing, this list was made just before EVO Japan and comes with some comments on each individual placements. You can check out the tier list at the source, as well all the other info on EVO Japan put together in the Dengeki Online article. Tekken 7 to receive full balance update mid-December says Harada

Relaying the word from Twitter, Tekken head Katsuhiro Harada mentioned a 'full' balance update to Tekken 7 is planned for mid-December after the TWT finals. Given the timing of the upcoming balance patch, some are already speculating that this might come alongside the other game additions in Season Pass 3 with Leroy Smith, 1 additional DLC character and the paid Frame Data feature. Perhaps the dev team is back to finish the job with Akuma? I guess we'll find out during the TWT Finals event in Bangkok, Thailand on December 7th.  Thanks goes to the Josie Bot on twitter for bringing the news to our attention. Oh and uh, if you're bad-mouthing Harada on twitter about how much you hate Law or whatever, it's probably a lot better to tweet it in English since using a machine translation can alter your intent lol.
