Tekken Revolution (PS3) Is Coming To An End On March 21, 2017

The free to play Tekken game that was announced back in E3 of 2013 and released on the same month on Playstation 3 has now announced that it is closing down game service and support. The announcement comes from an in-game notice that displays when you boot into the game and Twitter user CensedSonic has posted up an image of the notice. Starting from January 21st, 2017 — Tekken Revolution and all related downloadable content for the game will be delisted from the Playstation Stores. The servers will still be up and running for players that own the game prior to the delisting until the later date of March 21, 2017 which will be the date when the game will fully be shut down.

SEA Major 2014 | Fighting Game Tournament Streamed Live from Singapore

South East Asia Major 2014 is currently going down in the Alienware Arena in Singapore and features famous players such as BooK, ZF, Kuro Kuro and AK competing as well as the local talent from the region. On top of that, Bandai Namco recently announced a bit back that they were adding another $1000 to the prize for the grand winner of the TTT2 tournament there. SCLS - Worldwide Soul Edge Ranking Event To Begin

Soul Calibur Lost Swords (PS3) will soon be rolling out an in-game event worldwide where players will be ranked on how many fragments of Soul Edge they find in battles. Should you find yourself high enough on the leaderboards for the event, you may potentially earn pieces of the new "Wolf Breast Armor." To help you tackle some of the quests, equipping any of the White/Dark Knight armor series of equipment will double the damage you do during the event and using either Nightmare/Taki/Ivy will net you a large HP bonus. The competition is to start on the 14th of May at 01:00 PM. (JST)

Stream Archive of Knee's Online Ranked Matches (2/27)

For those who don't know, Knee streams online Tekken from time to time on the Korean live streaming service: afreecaTV. Yesterday he streamed a long online session that includes the entire Yuuji Cup as well as normal ranked match play up against Japanese players like Nobi, Yuttari Yuuki and Special Pikoham. Tekken Revolution Celebrates 2.5 Million Downloads on PSN

Namco announces today that there will be multiple in-game bonuses and events for the free-to-play PS3 Tekken game to celebrate the game amassing 2.5 million downloads on the Playstation Network. The celebratory period will commence on the 28th of January and end on the 4th of February. During the period, you can look forward to gaining experience multipliers, premium tickets, fight money and of course Mokujin Fest being open. No new characters, premium effects or stages are said to be added however.
