Tekken Revolution Celebrates 2.5 Million Downloads on PSN

Namco announces today that there will be multiple in-game bonuses and events for the free-to-play PS3 Tekken game to celebrate the game amassing 2.5 million downloads on the Playstation Network. The celebratory period will commence on the 28th of January and end on the 4th of February. During the period, you can look forward to gaining experience multipliers, premium tickets, fight money and of course Mokujin Fest being open. No new characters, premium effects or stages are said to be added however.

  • During the 1/28 and up until 2/4, all players under the level of 50 will receive a 3x multiplier to all earned experience in game.
  • During 1/28 til 1/31, you can claim a free premium ticket for each daily login into the game. (Max is 3)
  • From 1/30 til 2/4, you will recieve 500,000 in game gold for each daily login. (You can gain a maximum of 2.5 Million gold)
  • And from the 1/31 til the 2/3, Mokujin Fest will be open so you can play Mokujin Rush mode.

now I kinda wish I had two PS3's so I could hold a small LAN based Tekken Revo event for shit and giggles.

Yeah no talk of if they are making money off this thing, I know quite a few people that play but haven't dropped a dime on it. To support namco I brought a costume but I just play my 5 matches each day before jumping into TTT2 for the most part.

One thing is for certain, it's very hard where I live to get a match sometimes on Revolution but a constant flow on TTT2.
