Shadowloo Showdown 6 | Australian Fighting Game Tournament on Feb 6 - 8, 2015

Once again, the annual Australian fighting game event Shadowloo Showdown is happening this year and it's going to happen earlier this year on this weekend. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is once again a game featured at the event and the international competitor flown down to play in the tournament is Saint from Korea. Shadowloo Showdown 6's Tekken tournament is being streamed on ZeroX03's Twitch.tv channel so be sure to tune into it if you want to see all the action live. There's of course other fighting games being streamed through the main ShadowlooHQ Twitch channels also if you're interested in watching it. I'm personally going to the event so event updates will be a bit slow.

TEKKEN's 20th Anniversary Thanksgiving Event Announced

The TEKKEN franchise is celebrating it's 20th Anniversary this month and Bandai Namco has announced that they're holding a 'Thanksgiving' event for all fans of the series to celebrate. The niconico broadcast of this event will feature the latest Tekken game: TEKKEN 7 with a 'Exhibition Tournament' featuring some 'world champions' of the series. Of course, the latest news on TEKKEN 7 will be revealed in the event as well as have special guests Katsuhiro Harada and Yuriko Tiger in the broadcast. There are to be more special guests in the event but they haven't yet been announced. The niconico stream of this event will occur on the 7th of December, 2014 and run from 12:30 PM until 6:00 PM Japan time.

TXT 2014 | Tekken Tournament in South America on Nov 8 & 9

The second iteration of a large Tekken tournament in South America: 'Tekken Extreme Tournament 2014' is on this weekend and it is sure to showcase the large enthusiasm for the game in the region. TXT 2014 is being held in La Paz, Bolivia and currently boasts 120 players entering from Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru, the US, Venezuela, Korea and more. The international guests for this tournament are Exalted from New York and Saint from Korea. I believe Help Me was supposed to attend but unfortunately couldn't make it. Nonetheless big South American tournament this weekend and it's going to be streamed on Twitch.tv so be sure to watch it if you can.

MASTERCUP.7 - Premium Promotional Video

Fumihiko Tachiki returns as special guest narrator to the latest Promotional Video for the next in line numbered MASTERCUP TTT2 tournament. The large Japanese 5on5 tournament is set to go down in Tokyo's Pallete Town Leisure Land with a staggering 176 teams of 5 people entered totaling 880 players entered! Among the list of players entering the tournament, you'll find players like Yuu, Nobi, Furumizu, AO, Burimaru, Gen, Deku, the True Tekken God team from Korea, the second Korean team, and just a lot more of really good players. MASTERCUP.7 is set to occur on the 2nd of November, 2014 with the event being streamed on Twitch.tv featuring Genya, Hameko, MarkMan & Team Spooky performing commentary. Tekken 7 - Sugamo Location Test Day 3 YouTube Archive

The final day of location test for Tekken 7 is now over and I've uploaded the entire nico stream from it at NAmco Sugamo onto YouTube.
