Nobi Gaisen Cup 2 | Japanese 3on3 Tournament on March 20

Nobi Gaisen Cup returns this year, the smaller scale Japanese Tekken 7 tournament organized by MASTERCUP that celebrates Nobi's triumphant victory at EVO 2015. The tournament is being held at the Namco Hakata Bus Terminal arcade which is located on the south western side of Japan within Fukuoka. Notable Tokyo players: Yuu, Nobi & Take as well as Osakan players: Yosurin, Nisshin & MakoRyu are making the trip over to that side of Japan bringing good East vs West vs South competition. You can catch Nobi Gaisen Cup 2 being streamed in it's entirety on MASTERCUP's niconico's channel as well the OPENREC.tv website.

---

The Tekken 7 Fated Retribution location tests in Japan are on this weekend! Things kick off at the select 3 arcades (Namco Sugamo, Round One Stadium Sennichimae & Namco Hakata Bus Terminal) starting on the Friday (Feb 12) at 10 AM in Japan time. This is roughly 3 hours before ATP Live starts on this Thursday. Expect news to pour out from Japan on the game at the time. I'll try to cover as much as I can as I get news and info from online reports and videos. On the Saturday (Feb 13) at 1 PM Japan time, Namco Sugamo will be doing a niconico stream for the location test only on that day. The niconico stream will have commentary by Yuu, Nobi & Hameko and teases a special guest for the stream. You can watch the niconico stream by creating a free account then logging in when it goes live. For those who can't catch it live, I'll be archiving it on YouTube in the least if you cannot watch the niconico stream. The niconico stream URL is as follows:

I've added other location tests details below if you're in Japan.

Fellow American players; Anakin and Inkognito are also attending alongside Kodee to the Peruvian event so this is shaping up to be a big North vs South America Tekken event. March 5 is just over a month away from now and this tournament will be 2 weeks before Final Round for easier referencing. There is further details on the tournament in our previous post and you can check out the Kodee Tekken Collision announcement trailer up on the Tekken Survivors' YouTube channel.

Tekken 7 - Namco Sugamo's End of Year Megane Grand Prix

Happy New Year everyone! Contained within are the Megane Grand Prix videos which recently took place in Namco Sugamo arcade as their big end of 2015 Tekken event. Hosted by Shudy, the format for 2015's Megane Grand Prix is 3on3 Teams with Waseda style format which pits every member on a team against each other opponent on the opposing team at the same time. Each win from a player gives the team a single point and the team with the most points wins. This team tournament is not similar to the MASTERCUP format as it doesn't have that aspect of a winning player carrying momentum to defeat an enemy team. If you need visual representation of this, check out the top right corner of the 1st image in this tweet. Alongside the Waseda 3on3 team tournament, there's also high level Japanese deathmatches, beginner tournaments, Nobi Tekken lesson videos are more uploaded and available to watch. Big thanks to Shudy! You can follow his channels here:
