IGN Video Interview with Japanese Pro Tekken Player Nobi

Famed Tekken Instructor Nobi recently got interviewed by the IGN crew during their visit to the Namco Sugamo arcade in Tokyo, Japan. The video interview to come from this gives us a more close and personal look as to how Nobi got into the Tekken series and how he managed to eventually turn it into a career by getting employed by the arcade to teach players the ropes in Tekken. Nowadays Nobi can still be found giving new players Tekken lectures alongside his fellow Yamasa sponsored Tekken players; Yuu and Take. JDCR & Saint Set to Attend Collision 2017 at Lima, Peru on Feb 18-19

The COLLISION Championship Series are happy to announce that two Korean Tekken champions are making their way to the premier tournament series in the city of Lima, Peru. 2016's Evolution and Global Championship grand finalist Saint, is joined by fellow dominant Korean player JDCR as they set out to get revenge on the competition in the region when they make their way to the tournament this month. Alongside those news, Collision 2017 has expanded in a big way from last year's tournament as it has announced that they're including multiple other fighting games as well getting Tekken Project team members Katsuhiro Harada & Michael Murray to confirm their attendance at the event. Not only that, but it also has to be said that the Tekken Brand Manager Mark Religioso as well Tekken community figure MarkMan are making an appearance there. COLLISION 2017 takes places in the capital of Peru this month on weekend of the 18th & 19th and is certainly not going to be an event you want to miss out on so stay tuned for more news from the event as well as live stream info. OUG Tournament Season 2 | Fighting Game Event in Dubai on Oct 14-15

Taking place this weekend in the United Arab Emirates within the most populated city of Dubai is the second season of the Omni Universal Gaming event. A Fighting game even featuring multiple games, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is featured in the line-up and the tournament has invited well known players to participate. JDCR from S. Korea and the Main Man from Sweden have made the trip to take on the best Tekken players the region have to offer. I'm sure that this will be the highlight event for players within the region to see if they can defend against the incoming foreign players. Registrations Open for Tekken Tej Tournament in Poland on October 22

Tekken Tej Tournament 2016 is the latest in the Polish Tekken tournament series that is set to take place in the city of Poznań next month. It's another last hurrah tournament for sending off TTT2 before Tekken 7 releases early next year but it'll be another showcase for European Tekken action. The event for this year is being run by a joint cooperation effort with the Polish community (TekkenPRO.pl) alongside with the Cool Kids Table and they know what they're doing when it comes to Tekken events. Registration and all kinds of useful information like how to get there, the game arena map, stream link, registration page and everything else is all detailed on the web page for the tournament so check it out if you're interested in competing. Registration for the tournament closes on the 15th of October, 2016.

Brazilian 'New Master' team picks up Sapito, will be going to TXT 2016

The 'New Master' team today announces that they've sponsored the Peruvian Tekken player Sapito. You may remember this Xiaoyu / Lei player after beating out Korea's own top player Saint in a close Tekken Tag Tournament 2 grand finals set to win the Tekken Collision event. The New Master team for those who don't remember is a Brazilian fighting game team set to improve the Latin American scene by enlisting players from the region and they've previously acquired El Negro from Venezuela and Leandro Foloni for their Tekken side. As part of their announcement for picking up the new player, Sapito is now confirmed to be attending the Tekken Extreme Tournament 2016 event on behalf of the team later this year.
