Regarding how bugs and exploits are found quicker these days;
Can you imagine a worse idea then starting a new fightinggame today? You have to post launch give it attention or watch it sink on something not explored. Fucked up development costs. Enormous whine and people voicing opinions during development. Impossible to please expectations of everybody. Huge gamble and variance in money you get back on your product. Random oversaturation happening and on top of that other games have fanbases off 10+ years and have already dictated what is standard in functions within the genre.

That's a huge problem as no big companies want to get in on the race anymore => staleness / no out of the box thinking

Believe me, people always find glitches and bugs very fast. Anywhere, internet or not. Actually,
modern fighting games are made at a time the internet is going mainstream, this internet bitch
have already been existing for ages. In the older times, people posted Steps to Reproduce in text;
nowadays, people just post videoes to Youtube.
