MASTERCUP J1 Climax 2013 | Japanese 3on3 Tekken Team Tournament Streamed Live on July 14th

The "Hell Festival" is almost here, the smaller scale 3on3 MASTERCUP tournament that is being held in the city of Kitakyushu in Japan. Whilst the entries were limited at 45 team resulting with a total of 135 players participating overall, there are quite some big names entered. The live stream for the event will be carried out on the nicovideo.jp website through Yuu and Nobi's Tekken broadcast page so be sure to tune in and watch. Tournament will run in a similiar fashion to the previous MASTERCUP.5 tournament. There are blocks which have 3 teams inside to battle it out. Each turn has 5 blocks to go through in the first phase of the tournament (first qualifer). Winners in each block moves onto the next phase of the tournament (second qualifier) while losers in the first qualifier go into the Wildcard section. If a team wins in the wildcard section, that team will advance to the second qualifier. From the Wildcard phase and onwards (Wildcard, 2nd qualifer, semifinals & finals), the tournament is single elimination.
