Win a Free Trip to Evo Las Vegas 2018 in the Ultimate Ranking Tournament on May 5

The French Tekken community is putting together a big European Tekken 7 throwdown in France next month and the winner that prevails gets an all-expensive-paid trip to participate at Evo 2018 in Las Vegas. The Ultimate Ranking tournament is set to take place in the Boutique Orange Opéra on May 5th with top placing rank players in the region already entered and a last chance qualifier-like event on the day for any hopeful European player there. The venue is being shared with Kayane Sessions #27 which is a free to play training ground with free stations of Tekken 7 and DragonBall FighterZ in a tournament stress free environment for people to come down, play locals and have fun. The sign-up page for the Ultimate Ranking tournament can be found over on the Weezevent page for Kayane Session #27 but act fast, only the first 64 players registered will get the chance at the free Evo 2018 ticket. For people that can't make it there, the tournament is expected to be streamed live on Twitch so be on the look out for the live stream in the future. The Tekken World Tour Standings are Currently Incorrect. Here's a Link to the Correctly Updated Standings

It has been brought to our attention recently that the current Tekken World Tour standings have been incorrectly calculated as of right now. At least for the Asia-Pacific region, I'm not paying too much attention to how the maths are currently being counted across the whole board. It is said that top 5 Tekken point earners in the 3 regional leaderboards are invited to the grand finals later this year but the point allocation haven't been completely following in line with the rules on the Tekken World Tour website. The leaderboards were a bit slow to update before but the incorrect points now make it unreliable to follow. Thankfully, Sathaporn on Twitter has taken upon himself to follow all the TWT event news and curate an online document that is reflecting the current standings more reliably. This makes for a more handy bookmark should you be interested in following the TWT. You can check out his TWT Standings document below over here:

Knee's Tekken 7 Tier List in Tournaments

Aaand here we have Knee's Tekken 7 tier list that is geared toward ranking characters in a console PS4 standard tournament format. Mishima characters, Leo and Xiaoyu move down in rankings while Jack-7 jumps right up to the top. It's important to note that while making this tier list in the video, Knee mentions multiple times throughout that the current PS4 input lag makes a big impact on how characters fare so that's why the disparity between his deathmatch and tournament lists. Registration Opens for the Tekken World Tour's Online Tournaments

The previously delayed Tekken World Tour Online qualifiers have now emerged with new details & rulesets for the upcoming tournaments. The TWT will now allow players to participate in the tour with online tournaments taking place in Europe, North America, South East Asia, East Asia & Australia. If you're a pro at Tekken online, come forward and sign up for your nearest online qualifier and hopefully make it out there on the Tekken World Tour. A large amount of Tekken footage from Japan's Super Battle Opera tournaments recently emerged on YouTube.
