Soul Calibur 6 - Azwel Battle Director Comment

Japanese gaming sites have published their Azwel news posts earlier today and the battle director (@oosaka_twt) comments detailing gameplay information are now out. The notes for Azwel describes his gameplan of repeatedly using one of his three available weapon types he can summon to use powerful variants of his attacks. Kind of sounds like building stacks with a weapon type to use a Rage Drive version if you get what I mean. The battle director comment also describes a bit about the Soul Charge and unique Critical Edge that Azwel has access to so be sure to check that out if you're looking to play him in the future. Gallery - Soul Calibur 6 Libra of Soul & Character Creation Screenshots

The second single player story mode called 'Libra of Soul' was unveiled at Gamescom and out comes a big batch of images showing it off. This batch of images include pictures of the character creation feature in the game with a large bunch of sample characters that can be used in all other gameplay modes. Pre-emptive warning for those on slow internet or data connections, the images in this gallery go over 150mb so please take note (images are full 1080p but resized to fit the page). Soul Calibur 6 - Libra of Soul Story Mode Trailer

The second story mode included in Soul Calibur 6 has been unveiled in a new trailer straight out of Gamescom! Titled 'Libra of Soul', the mode follows a story with a customizable main character roaming the world in a quest to stop the newly revealed villian. Check out the wide variety of customization options in the game and some gameplay segments in the new mode which is pretty reminiscent of the weapon master modes from Soul Calibur games of the past.

Steam Store Page for Soul Calibur 6 is Now Live

Pre-orders for Soul Calibur 6 are now available on Steam with the listing going live for everyone as of today. The Steam store page details all the basic info behind the game including the recommended specifications, supported languages, local game modes, controller support, Steam cards/cloud saves and various other stuff. Considering how well the PC version of Tekken 7 turned out, Soul Calibur 6 should hold good prospects when it eventually comes out. Soul Calibur 6 is launching worldwide on October 19th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One & PC via Steam.

Kayane's Interview with Motohiro Okubo from EVO 2018

A new interview with Soul Calibur 6's producer Motohiro Okubo from this past Evo has now gone live thanks to Kayane. A lot of interesting and direct questions regarding the game's features and potential future plans like having a demo or beta, patches after launch, frame data in training mode and even on the potential of World Tour being asked in here. This interview serves as the latest development update for Soul Calibur 6 leading up to Gamescom later this month on Aug 21 - 25.
