Rumor: Modders potentially discover the next two DLC characters in SoulCalibur VI Season 2

Once again, a big new update for SoulCalibur VI dropped meaning people on the internet are going data spelunking. SC6 managed to shore up some leaks for the past few announcements, but it looks like they made the same mistake of leaving things in that they probably shouldn't have. These new files discovered in version 2.10, apparently relate to the last two additional DLC characters coming to the game in Season Pass 2. Now before I present what was found, I have to say that the references does not confirm their inclusions until the official announcements get made. It's still all rumor-milling and speculation. Turn away from this page now if you don't want to potentially get spoiled.

Rumor: More DLC Character References Discovered Inside Soul Calibur 6

It was previously discovered that Amy and Cassandra were referenced as DLC characters in Soul Calibur 6 but with the newest 1.11 patch, six brand new references were added to the game's code. The DLC characters are not named outright but, they all have codenames instead, which has led online Soulcalibur communities to speculate as to who they all might be. The names might be a bit vague, but there are some similiarities to certain SC characters that aren't currently in the game yet so there is some basis to the guessing. Kinda. Well, once again, this is all rumor-milling and speculation for the time being so do take note. We haven't gotten official confirmation of Amy and Cassandra being DLC characters in the game yet too.

Rumor: Internal SC6 File Contains Character References to Cassandra & Amy

Seems like we may have accidentally stumbled upon our two next DLC characters coming to Soul Calibur 6? According to some people who have cracked open the recently recalled 1.10 update, both Amy Sorel and Cassandra Alexandra are explicitly referenced inside a specific config file in the game. This particularly sticks out because they both don't actually have character models and are listed alongside everyone else that are either playable or encounterable in a Story Battle. They also happen to be listed under DLC2 & DLC3 respectively. I've personally heard accounts of these file references existing but since the update is no longer available for the time being, I have no real method to check if it's real myself. If you happen to still have the update on hand, you can verify the references inside the file yourself with a bit of googling know-how. Just to leave this with a warning note though, this is all speculation and rumour-milling for the time being and does not confirm their inclusions.

Report - TEKKEN 7 Releasing in the last week of February 2017

Insider sources at Bandai Namco Entertainment has tipped us off that the console/PC versions of Tekken 7 will be releasing on the last week of February next year. Tekken 7 was officially announced to be coming out during Early 2017 back at E3 2016 but this new time frame further narrows down the release window for the long awaited upcoming fighting game. Since a release date for Tekken 7 hasn't been announced officially yet, we'll stash this bit of info down as a rumor. Early 2017 is looking to be a busy time in gaming with Resident Evil 7, For Honor, Mass Effect Andromeda, Halo Wars 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, Yakuza 0, Persona 5 and of course Tekken 7 all set to release around the same period. When a release date for Tekken 7 gets officially announced, we'll keep you posted.

Rumor: New Namco Arcade System 478 to be Made, Title featured is Tekken 7?

Tekken titles are normally developed on specialized arcade boards that are based on PlayStation hardware, Tekken Tag 2 for example is developed for System 369. And if this new information that was recently put out onto the internet is to be believed, it seems like Tekken 7 is soon to follow this tradition. According to a 2ch post, a new Namco Bandai Arcade system titled "System 478," (based on PS4 hardware perhaps?) is soon to be made and features several games for exhibition such as Tekken 7 & a new game in the Gundam VS series. Since I haven't received any official word from Namco about this yet, I'll put this under rumor. You can see the original source below.
