TTT2 on TV! 8 Man Tournament Featured in 'Black Million' Show

Happen to live in Japan or have access to the TV Tokyo channel online? Tune into the late, Saturday night episodes of 'Black Million' which is a show from Japan that has multiple competitors competing in a variety of activies for the 1 Million Yen prize. This season, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 arcade cabinets were pulled into the studio and 8 well regarded players in Japan were gathered to compete in a small 8 man tournament for the grand prize of 100,000円 (TTT2 got the prize short straw). This weekend's episode played a small 5 minute portion of the event that featured; 'Japan's North East Strongman' Migiashi VS 'No 1 On a Mission Player' Shudy and 'From the underground' Puuchan VS 'Natural Born Tekken Master' Genkids. (These TV player descriptions are a bit wild.) Hit the link if you want to see the image and video of the segment.

TTT2 - Nobi VS Furumizu & Neo VS Matador Match Archives

Japan streamed quite the number of great Dragunov footage this past weekend. Yuu & Nobi during their live broadcasts on niconico streamed a replay of the Tekken Emperor deathmatch between Nobi [DRA/LARS] & Furumizu [DRA/LEI] who are arguably some of the best the country has to offer. Additionally, the past "Matador's Abusive Friday" broadcast at the Orange House arcade in Osaka, Japan had Neo [FEN/DRA] visit and play against Matador. For those who don't know, Neo (ネオ) was one of the more notable Dragunov players during T6BR so it's great so see him still playing. There's also several other great players (Knee, Karei, Tengoku etc) featured in the videos if you aren't to keen on watching Dragunov matches. I've recorded all the low quality niconico broadcasts and have them uploaded to my YouTube channel for everyone to see below.

Yuu & Nobi's New Twitch.TV Channel

TTT2_KvsJ_7on7_ (39 - 196).jpg

Good news for those who love to watch Tekken streams, famed Japanese players Yuu and Nobi have set up a new Twitch.tv channel. Although I don't know if they'll be fully using it, on niconico they stream semiweekly Namco Sugamo 'Ranking Battles' on Wednesday and Saturday evenings in which the regulars at the arcade play in a small single elim tournament in various formats with commentary from Nobi and several other participants. They also stream console games and various special events from time to time so hopefully they do decide to move to Twitch. You can receive notifications on when the channel goes live by following the channel or by following Yuu's twitter.

Full MASTERCUP.6 Results, Japan & Korea Takes It!

After 15 straight hours of pure Tekken, we have finally found our team that prevails over everyone else in the massive 5on5 MASTERCUP.6 tournament. The "AO-chan Daisuki Kiss Shite" team consisting of Japan's AO, Pon & Zeugaru alongside Korea's Qudans & Secret successfully defeated team "Dai Nihon Fuuryoku Hatsudensho (Gaiden)" in the Grand Finals to take home the crown. It's been a long journey for the combined Japan and Korean team but they deserve a big congratulations for overcoming the gargantuan amount of entrants the tournament had. You can see the full results below and be sure to come back tomorrow as the massive 7on7 KRvsJP event will be taking place.
