Tekken World Tour Finals 2017 | Tekken 7 Global Championship on November 12

It has been a long time coming but we are finally here, the Tekken World Tour will today be crowning the world's best Tekken player for the entire year. Going live from the City View in San Francisco, California, the best players hailing from the Asia-Pacific, United States and Europe has been assembled to find our 2017 Tekken 7 Champion. With $50,000 US dollars of prize money on the line, you can expect to see world class Tekken action to go down and we all get to see it happen live. Doors for the event open at 12 PM sharp for those of you who are planning on attending the event to catch everything in person and try out the new Geese Howard Tekken 7 stations which will also be available over there. The Tekken 7 tournament will begin at 1 PM pacific so expect that to be the time in which to tune. The Tekken World Tours Finals is being live streamed over on the official Twitch Tekken channel so get in there to not miss out on all the action. IeSF 2017 | 9th Esports World Championship Streamed Live on November 11

Taking place later today is the 9th Esports World Championship hosted by the International Esports Federation in Busan, Korea. This is a global scale competition for Tekken 7 as qualifiers for this world championship was hosted across 23 countries to find the world's best to compete in Korea. Tekken 7 at the EWC has already progressed to the quarterfinal stages off stream and among the players representing at the event are Jeondding (S.Korea), Book (Thailand), Doujin (Philippines) Kor_nnova (New Zealand) & more so you can expect strong competition. The Tekken 7 tournament finals day starts at 10 AM Korean time (5 PM PST) and finishes with the finals at around 8 PM (3 AM PST.) You can watch the live broadcast of the Esports World Championship over on the International Esports Federation Twitch channel here when it comes live:

NorCal StrongStyle Returns February 10-11, 2018

And it's back! StrongStyle 2018 is taking place February 10/11, 2018 at the DoubleTree by the Hilton Hotel in San Jose, California. It's been 3 years since the last StrongStyle event but this dedicated Tekken tournament series will see Tekken 7 being played when it comes back in early 2018. Team Spooky and the 10/0 team will be organizing the production behind the event with EightArc and Qanba USA sponsoring the event. In the words of NSS subt-L, this event will be streamed live this time so you won't miss it but you'll still want to be in the event in person. Can personally confirm, StrongStyle~5 was a great event looking back at Tekken Tag Tournament 2's life. Look out for more news and info on the tournament later as we get closer to the date. The Reason Why JDCR Plays Dragunov in Tekken 7

Here's a short but straight to the point video clip for you if you happen to have been googling the aforementioned. While you're here, have a casual reminder that the PlayStation 4 version of Tekken is still currently the most laggiest in terms of input response time platform to play Tekken 7 on with the PC and even the Xbox One beating it in prior testing. Here's to hoping the PS4 version gets that issue sorted out in the future, if it even can at all. The Twitch clip below comes from JDCR's recent Twitch stream that was on earlier today.

OzHadou Nationals 15 | Australian Fighting Game Tournament on September 15 - 17

The longest running Australian fighting game tournament event returns this weekend in the city of Sydney, Australia and it features Tekken 7 as part of the Tekken World Tour. OzHadou Nationals 15 sees almost 200 players entered for Tekken and marks the country's largest Tekken tournament to date. International Tekken players; Saint, Knee, Nobi, Yuu, Take and Kkokkoma have also confirmed their participation to OHN 2015 as they battle the best the region has to offer to try to take home points from the Tekken World Tour. The Tekken 7 tournament is being streamed live on twitch and it starts at 5 PM Pacific / 8 PM Eastern time on the Saturday with the tournament Top 8 taking place on Sunday 11 PM / 2 AM.
