SC LS - Game Delayed to 2014, Astaroth, Pyrrha & Nightmare Revealed

Fans of the upcoming free-to-play Soul Calibur: Lost Swords game will be in for a longer wait, seeing as Namco Bandai have announced that the game is being delayed and will be releasing in 2014. The reasons cited for this announcement was that Namco Bandai wanted longer development time for the game to help improve overall game quality. It's not all grim news however as Namco have also revealed 3 upcoming fighters for the title. Astaroth, Phyrra & Nightmare will be included in the game's roster and there's some new screenshots & videos of them below.

Soul Calibur Lost Swords - New Character Trailers & Images

UPDATE: The JP Beta Version is now up on the PlayStation Network. You can find it on the PS3 by searching for "SoulCalibur" or you can get the beta through here: SOULCALIBUR Lost Swords：βテストver.

Namco Bandai have put out a large batch of new images, character trailers as well as updates to the official website for the game detailing the features in preparation for Beta test version's release tomorrow. The Beta test is currently restricted to only the Japanese Playstation store but players outside of Japan can easily create a Japanese PSN account and download it for free. Soul Calibur Lost Swords - Beta Test Version Announced

A Beta(β) test for the upcoming free-to-play singleplayer only game "Soul Calibur: Losts Swords" has been announced by Namco Bandai. The open Beta test will start on the 14th of November and finish on the 18th of November. To get into the Beta test, you'll have to download the 4GB β version of the game on the Playstation Network when it becomes available. Soul Calibur: Lost Swords - Tokyo Game Show Trailer

For those that missed the TGS live stream, NamcoBandaiGamesEU YouTube channel uploaded the reveal trailer for Soul Calibur: Lost Swords. In the trailer you can see that character weapons in the game have different colours which are actually due to weapon attributes in the game and that Sophitia is confirmed to be in the roster.
