The Japanese Tekken 7 website has posted a notice detailing all the changes being made to Tekken 7 on PlayStation 4 with the Version 1.02 update. List of changes in the update include Matchmaking improvements, player details being taken out, Voice Chat options and a specific property change to Nina's Ivory Cutter. I've added the update details and notice below. If you happen to be in Japan, Version 1.02 on PS4 can now be downloaded with European and US PlayStation Network soon to follow. XB1 and PC platforms will also be receiving a similar update to Tekken 7 but it's coming a little later so stay tuned for news on that when it arrives. Notice Regarding Tekken 7 Matchmaking Issues

A notice for the Tekken 7 Match Making issues has appeared on the European Tekken website. This is in regarding all the issues which seem to be prevalent on the PlayStation 4 versions of Tekken 7 in which players are having difficulty matching up with other players. The notice gives everyone a heads up that they are working on fixing these issues and that they also plan to no longer show which characters are being used during the Rank Match match making. No details on when the update will be out but we'll keep you posted if we hear more. Stay tuned to the Tekken website for more news on it in the future.

Findings from Noodalls - Tekken 7 has less input lag on XB1 than PS4

Well this is a little awkward isn't it? Noodalls tested out the input lag on the Xbox One versions of Tekken 7 and as it turns out, it in fact has less overall input lag than the PlayStation 4 Pro version. In the previous findings, Tekken 7 on the PS4 measured at 120.1 ms (7.2 frames) with the PS4 Pro matching that. On the Xbox One version of Tekken 7 however, the game was measured to have 104.2ms (6.2 frames) so that is a 1 frame difference between the two consoles. This marks an unusual precedent since historically Tekken games have always been played on the PlayStation versions competitively. Do tournaments now use the XB1 version? Or is everyone content on playing on the PS4? Once again, big thanks goes to Noodalls for the findings, added below is the YouTube video he recently put up testing the two versions.

Latest PS4 Tekken 7 Footage Shows Noticeable Slowdowns During Matches

Oh no. The Tekken 7 UK Championship Qualifier in Dublin, Ireland took place recently and some concerning footage was captured of the PS4 version of the Tekken 7 having really noticeable slowdowns in the game. And no, I'm not talking about the Slow motion moments that happen near the end of the rounds. It's hard to tell what's causing all these performance issues in the game but there's been some anecdotal experiences from players at several events saying there's something going on with the console version of the game. I've gathered all the notable bits of footage & comments here for people to judge for themselves and hopefully grab the attention of those working on the game to quickly iron out all these issues before it releases real soon.
