Console / PC Versions of Tekken 7 is Getting An Online Tournament Mode

[Update] Hi-res images of the Online Tournament mode have now been added.

Also unveiled during the King of Iron Fist Tournament 2016 Tekken stream is news that the Console / PC version of Tekken 7 will have an online tournament mode. This mode will allow players to set up and play each other online (Max of 8 players total per tournament) with a format used in actual offline tournaments. It supports single & double elimination brackets and includes player spectating and voice chat. In game prizes can also be allocated to the winners of the tournament with stuff like gold and items. Tekken-net October Campaign - New Customizations Added to the Store

Tekken-net is having its October Campaign and for this occasion, new and old customizations items in Tekken 7 Fated Retribution are up for grabs for people to unlock & buy in the in-game Fight Shop. Most of the older items are premium customization items that were only earnable back in previous Tekken 7 vanilla campaign / events but they're back for this month for players that missed out. The new batch of custom items include more additions to certain characters wardrobe as well some items from the YAMASA collaboration which is the company that makes TEKKEN related Pachislot machines. If you have ever seen players at events rocking the frog related wear, they're with Yamasa. Full details on the October campaign are up on Tekken-Official for those in Japan.

TEKKEN 7 Included in Bandai Namco's Tokyo Game Show 2016 Line-up

Bandai Namco recently published their line-up of games at Tokyo Game Show this year and Tekken 7 is on the list. From the TGS web page that Bandai Namco put up, the game will be playable at the event, have a new promotional video (trailer) be shown off and have a stage show that is going to be streamed live so there's lots to look forward to soon in September. Alongside this, the Tekken-Official website also put up a page dedicated to the home versions of Tekken 7 and it looks like it's going to be the main page for Tekken 7 in the future. A minor detail to include but the TEKKEN 7 logo got updated there (Not just plain white font this time.) Tokyo Game Show 2016 is taking place in Chiba, Japan on September 15 - 18.

Guide - How to Emulate PSP Tekken 6 with the Screw Attacks Mod

This is a written guide to how to get the PSP version of Tekken 6 working with the Screw (tailspin) attacks that are in Tekken 7 as well as other mods like removing bounds. This mod project is actually a lot more extensive than it looks as it mods Tekken 6 to look like T7 and gives you a somewhat bootlegged way to play Tekken 7 since it's not out yet. There's a few files you need to download but I have it arranged and detailed step by step on how to get the cheat modifications working. It must be said that this guide is for getting Screw codes in T6 to work on PCs. TEKKEN 7 - Lee Chaolan / Violet Character Reveal Trailer

UPDATE: High res screenshots of Lee Chaolan have been added!

Announced at Gamescom this year, Lee Chaolan will be in the Tekken 7 character roster! The reveal trailer for Lee is now up and also includes Violet, his former alter ego palette swap as another outfit for Lee to use in game. Tekken 7 is slated to come out for PS4 / XB1 / PC (Steam) in Early 2017.
