Soul Calibur 6 - Cervantes Battle Director Comment

Thanks goes to Famitsu for posting the Battle Director comment for Cervantes with his recent reveal. The Soul Calibur 6 Battle Director Oosaka (@oosaka_twt) gives a short introduction to the game plan of Cervantes in his developer comment. For people already familiar with playing Cervantes, you can find out what's new with the character as the details tease about his new 'The Baron' stance. The english version of the Battle director comment can be found below but you can also check out the comment at its source over on Famitsu.

Dual wielding a sword and dagger with a pistol equipped, the veteran dreaded Pirate Captain, Cervantes, enters the battle as a 'power' character that strikes down foes with heavy strikes and a barrage of gun shots.

There are many blind spots in the middle of the battle as Cervantes is capable of hurling himself quickly through the air to attack and can instantly appear high up in the sky to strike the opponent downwards.

For this occasion, Cervantes gains the ability to 'kick off' from the wall in his newly added 'The Baron' stance. He can rebound off the wall leading to many different attack variations that he can use in battle. Ignoring attacking Cervantes from head on, the opponent now can't afford to drop their guard as the combat now involves many sided directions that Cervantes can attack from when he is engaged in an arena that has walls surrounding it.
